千葉・片貝の愛称”オカズ”。代々受け継いできた朝目覚めたら海のある環境の中で、もの心ついたときからサーフィンをしていたという生粋のサーファーです。10代のアマチュア時代は２度の世界選手権日本代表に選ばれるほどの強者で、20代でなるべくしてプロサーファーに。心と身体の鍛錬のために始めた柔術も極めつつ、30代の今も変わることなく目の前に広がる海岸線でサーフィンを磨きながら、教えながらのライフスタイルを送っています。

In Katagai, Chiba, his nickname is “Okazu”. He is a surfer born into surfing. He has been surfing ever since he can remember, waking up every morning next to the sea, he inherited an environment passed down generation after generation. In his teenage years, Okazu was selected twice to represent Japan in the World Championships and of course became pro in his 20s. To train his mind and body, he took up and mastered jiu-jitsu. Even now in his 30s, he continues to live his surf lifestyle on the wide coastline, polishing his surfing and teaching others.
