千葉公平がハンドメイドのボードを渡した湘南で初めてのサーファーが吾郎でした。吾郎を連れて波のある南紀や四国、ハワイまで。ともによくサーフィンをしました。四国のシェイプルーム裏の部屋に住んでいた頃は、サーフィンすることが吾郎のアルバイトでした。長い手足から繰り出す流れるようなサーフィンの上手さとスタイリッシュさは、続くキッズの憧れでした。その後、千葉へ移り住んだ吾郎のもとに、今度は四国の３０３キッズがお世話になり、サーファーのスタイルを学びました。今は家族とともに地元湘南・茅ヶ崎に暮らし、海の中では今もあの頃のように、流れるサーフィンオーラを放ち続けています。

Goro was the first surfer in Shonan to receive a hand-made surfboard from Kohei Chiba. They surfed a lot together, traveling to surf waves in Nanki, Shikoku and Hawaii. When Goro lived in the back of the shape room in Shikoku, to surf was his part-time job. The next generation of kids admired him for his stylish surfing skills generated from his long limbs. He moved to Chiba, where he hosted and taught 303 kids from Shikoku his surfing style. Now residing in Chigasaki in Shonan with his family, he continues to maintain the same surf lifestyle, emitting a strong surfing aura whenever he steps foot in the water.
