In 2009, the idea pop up for modifying Flying model to suit better for small wave. 2 inches shorter, with wider tail block, the prototype skated very well on onshore small wave and gutless mushy wave conditions. We named the new model “ Small Dog “ . End of 2018, Yujiro Tsuji wanted us to come up with the board designed for small, less powerful wave for the upcoming contest season. We made few more changes and “ Refined Small Dog” model was born.
Very noticeable change is Double Winged Swallow Tail. The board is little smaller than usual board, wider and swallow that gives the tail width from wide to narrow in short distance. This combination gives the board very good turn-ability with less effort. This buddy will feel very alive in poor condition, and give you more turn and control in sad small wave even in the contest. You may be feel uplifted & will find most fun in the given condition, and discover the fun of surfing any day.

そして、2018年末、「来シーズンのために小波やパワーの無い波用のサーフボードを」というプロライダー辻裕次郎の要望にこたえて、当時のコンセプトはそのままに“リモデルされたスモールドッグ”が完成しました。
リモデル一番の注目点は、ダブルウィングスワローテールです。いつもより少し小さめで、少しワイドで、テールが広め。広めながら絞られたテールエンドが、とても軽い回転性を生んでいます。豊かなコントロール性能を持つ躍動感あふれるこの相棒は、凹みがちなプアーウェイブのコンペの日に気持ちをアップさせてくれることはもちろん、波のコンディションにかかわらず、いつもとは違った乗り味でサーフィンの楽しさを感じさせてくれることでしょう。
