ハワイ生まれの西元シスターズの姉、エミリ。2015年春、15歳で妹のジュリとともに日本のプロ資格を獲得しました。はじめの年は、日本の力の無い波にとても苦戦しましたが、翌年は３度の準優勝でファイナルランキング２位。日本プロレディース界の完璧な世代交代の立役者となりました。2017年シーズンは、免許を取得して妹を助手席に乗せ、日本のツアーを元気にドライビングアラウンド。妹をグランドチャンピオンへ導き、自身も3位をキープしました。台風シーズンには、303のホーム四国へも車を走らせ、ビーチやリーフ、そして河口と本当によくサーフしました。今シーズンは、その舞台を世界ツアーに広げています。コンテストだけでなく、行く先々で見せるエミリのHeart of the Sea―本物のサーファーガールの海を楽しむ遊び心と強いチャレンジ精神は、今やたくさんの人に愛されています。

Emily is the older one of Hawaii born surf sisters. She decided to follow JPSA tour back in 2015, passed the pro test along with her sister, Julie. Had hard time dealing with Japan’s gutless surf, but 2nd year, she did well and finished overall runner up for 2016 ranking. It seemed as if her performance lead the generation of change in Japanese women’s circuit. She was old enough to get driving license in 2017, so the sisters was driving all over Japan to surf. Her sister end up became a champ, and Emily kept her position as 2nd over all. They also scored Shikoku’s reef, beach & famous river mouth every time they broke. She will focus on world tour in 2018 & her real surfer girl mind with challenging spirit will be noticed, all over the world.
